“China is an important new market for Alpine Sports broadcast. In partnership with Horne & Associates, EBU has pioneered bringing the excitement of winter sport disciplines including Swiss ski racing and the beauty of the Alps to this large new Asian audience. By re-purposing EBU content and adding Chinese commentary, Horne & Associates added an additional 3.8 million viewers, as well as strengthening our relationship with China’s public service broadcaster, China Central Television (CCTV),” said Stefan Kuerten, Head of Sport, European Broadcast Union.

”Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) has worked closely with Guy Horne since 2002, the first time that the bi-annual Asian Table Tennis Championships was produced for live broadcast.  Over the last 16 years, Guy has been instrumental in ensuring our top events continue to have wide-spread free-to-air broadcast coverage in China, Japan and Korea and across the Middle East. He recently arranged hosting of the 2016 Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), working closely with U.A.E. Table Tennis Association and took on the host broadcaster role.   In recently years, he has expanded our digital presence with live-streaming of competitions into ‘dark’ markets where no TV broadcast exists”, said Tony Yue, Honorary General Secretary, Asian Table Tennis Union.
